This church ceased to be used as a church around 30-40 years ago. For a time it was used as a workshop for the disabled, but has lain empty in recent years. In the last few years it was under conversion into flats or offices. A new church was built on the outskirts of Paisley in the early 1960s (St Columba's Church). The graveyard attached to the church was reduced in size in the 1960s when a new road was built. The burials were re-interred in Hawkhead cemetery. Researched by G. McCrea, compiled by J. Dowling, 24/3/2004.
