Description

Migdale Free Church

Construction materials: Stone (sandstone) - Used for walls; Slate - Used for roof;

This Free Church was built in 1843 and is a large rectangular, south-facing building. It has mixed sandstone and whinstone walls and a slated roof. There is a small bell tower atop the south elevation, but there is no bell. The windows are tall, leaded and arched at the top. There is a small vestry to the rear and the building, which has an internal balcony, is surrounded by a dry stone wall. The building is well maintained and in good condition.
